When and where is the cookout?+
Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 1 PM to 9 PM at Luna Street Park in Lake Village, Arkansas.
Is it free to attend?+
Yes. The cookout is free and open to the public. Some vendor purchases (food, merchandise) are at vendor pricing.
Where do I park?+
Primary parking is the Southeast Arkansas Rehab lot, with overflow on surrounding grass lots. Luna St & N Court are blocked to through-traffic but residents keep access. Follow posted signage and volunteer directions.
Can I bring my dog?+
Friendly, leashed pets are welcome in the open-air areas. For everyone's safety, please keep pets out of the vendor row, food lines, and the kids' games area.
Can I bring a cooler?+
Personal coolers with non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are allowed. We ask that you also support our food vendors — they're local small businesses serving the community.
What's the alcohol policy?+
Alcohol is not permitted at the park. This is a family event held on public park grounds — please leave all alcoholic beverages at home.
Is the event accessible?+
Yes. The park has flat, paved pathways and accessible portable restrooms on-site. If you need specific accommodations, reach out via the contact form and we'll plan ahead with you.
Will there be security?+
Yes. We coordinate with on-site security throughout the event, with controlled entry/exit points and clear emergency access lanes.
What about the lakefront?+
The lakefront stays open to attendees — come enjoy the view. Designated zones keep activities, vendors, and seating organized while the waterfront remains accessible.
How do I become a vendor or sponsor?+
Vendors: hit the Contact page or comment 'VENDOR' on our socials. Sponsors: see the Sponsors page for tiers and the inquiry form.
How can I volunteer?+
Sign up on the Volunteer page. We need help with setup, cleanup, registration, kids' games, and more.
